“Overturned Radiance” is a visual embodiment of an imaginary realm enclosed beneath an invisible, overarching ceiling—the physical manifestation of a sacred splendor upended by an unknown event, turning its divine light into a curse. Within this altered space, the human and non-human subjects in the photographs crack, bend, and undergo structural deformation at the precise point of intersection with this unseen layer.
The nature and origin of this aura remain shrouded in ambiguity—as though wrought by a spell, sorcery, or an ancient incantation.
The inhabitants of this enclosed domain, who have succumbed to the weight of this curse, are phantom-like forms and restless spirits; entities that have either not yet attained complete form, or have fallen from their conventional shape, undergoing a process of metamorphosis and alteration.
